Hawthorn Community House is home to a brand new Youth Theatre Company- Left Over Theatre Company (LOT).
Local theatre Makers Liz Everett and Sarah Hartnell will host ongoing workshops for young people aged 13-17 focusing on devising theatre skills, creatives writing , as well as offering a welcoming and supportive ‘third place’ for teenagers. It would be wonderful if Eastsider News would consider doing an article on LOT. Liz and Sarah have amazing enthusiasm and are committed to this project and to supporting youth that have not accessed programs like this before. LOT will be a place to meet like-minded people in a creative space, where you are given the tools to make art and things that are important to you.
