This interactive workshop with Tracey O’Neill is designed to create a space for volunteer leaders to turn attention to themselves and the people they lead.
What is covered:
- Personal reflection on energy, drain and early warning signs of burnout in ourselves.
- A shared activity where participants locate themselves on a burnout spectrum and connect with others experiencing similar pressures.
- Facilitated discussion on what burnout actually looks like in leaders of volunteer engagement and in the volunteers they support.
- Introduction to the Wellness Wheel as a practical self-assessment tool across eight domains of wellbeing.
- Exploration of the systemic drivers of burnout why this is an organisational and structural issue, not a personal failing.
- A personal sustainability plan with two concrete commitments to take away.
