About the keynote speaker

Tony Vallance is a speaker, therapist, educator, a men’s mental health and ADHD advocate, and the co-founder of Building Better Brains. Tony’s talk aims to inspire volunteers and increase understanding of neuroinclusive communities and volunteering experiences. The talk will explore how neuro-affirming approaches can influence belonging, participation, and life outcomes for neurodivergent people.

About the musical performance

Sinobeats is based in Camberwell and specialises in cross-culture communication, aiming to create new fusion music and introduce authentic Chinese culture to the rest of the world. The performance will include traditional Chinese instruments, the guzheng and erhu. In a Western context these instruments can be likened to a harp and a violin respectively, combining flowing, expressive melodies with rich, evocative tones.
