In this post, we will publish upcoming events that have been mentioned in our latest editions of Eastsider News. Please forgive if we are a little out of date at times. Our volunteers will try to keep the information as up to date as possible. We stress that the events we report here are cconducted by community organisations within the area we cover. We do not have any direct involvement in them and provide the information as a community service.

Red Balloon Day – 28 February
Show your support to our fireys by purchasing official Thank You Fireys merchandise and displaying them on the 28th of February (the last official day of Summer in Australia), to let our fire fighters know just how much we appreciate their dedication, hard work and tireless efforts in protecting our lives, our homes and our communities throughout the year. Often our fire fighters, both professional and volunteer, leave their family, home or community to help protect ours.
Thank you, Neighbourhood Watch Whitehorse for alerting us to this event. To find out more, go to https://www.nationalredballoonday.org/about.htm
