Whether you are a long-time resident\, new to the area or simply curious\, there will be something to discover\, connect with and enjoy. \nThroughout the week\, exhibits from Old Hawthorn\, Fresh Eyes and Women of Influence will be on show\, offering different ways of looking at Hawthorn’s past. Visitors can also explore historic photographs and highlights from the Society’s collection\, test their knowledge with 52 Fun Facts about Hawthorn\, browse local history publications and add a memory to My Hawthorn Story. \nHawthorn History Week is supported by the City of Boroondara and Kay & Burton.

To celebrate we have a double welcome deal- two fun events on back to back Tuesdays. Come to one or both! No partner needed\, soft shoes\, cuppa after. All dances taught\, no experience needed. \n\nTuesday October 20 7.30-8.45 Very casual intro session with our teacher\, Matthew. Free\nTuesday October 27 7.30-9.30 Community Welcome Dance. Wear spring brights or wear some tartan! Dance with our group members for some easy dances.
