DESCRIPTION:Outer Eastern Treaty Education and Solidarity Forum\nTuesday September 22 from 7pm to 9pm. \nCentral Ringwood Community Centre. \nBedford Park\, 2 Rosewarne Lane (via Bedford Road)\, Ringwood. \n \nLearn about Australia’s first Treaty and how we got here. \nLast year the State of Victoria signed the first Treaty with her First Peoples. Treaty is something for all Victorians to be proud of. But did you know that right now\, Treaty is under threat. Some political parties have pledged to rip up the Treaty if elected this November. After a decade in the making\, it is so important that the Statewide Treaty be upheld. \nAssembly members from Gellung Warl and the Together for Treaty team will be speaking. Treaty is good for First Peoples and for all Victorians and should be above party politics. This is why Treaty education and these conversations are so important. \nCome and learn more about the Treaty and how to best show your support for the it. \nNote: RSVPs necessary.
