Wilhelm Philipp – A photographic exhibition of the changing face of Box Hill

Artist Floor Talk: Saturday 5 October, 2pm to 4pm

Emerging artist Wilhelm Philipp documents the changing face of Box Hill in his exhibition titled I Wish We Knew These Were the Good Times When We Were in Them

Artspace, Box Hill Town Hall

From 7 September to 19 October

Opening times for the exhibition are Tuesday to Friday 10am to 4pm; Saturday 12pm to 4pm

A local to the area for 26 years, Wilhelm Philipp captures his diverse neighbourhood community through a documentary style of photography. In this exhibition the everyday people of Box Hill and their stories take centre stage.  Wilhelm has been recording his local surroundings almost daily since 2019. His images reveal the area’s dramatically changing urban landscape. He seeks to preserve this moment in the history of Box Hill and chart the process of change, while celebrating citizens past, present and future.

Exhibition Opening: Saturday 14 September, 1pm to 4pm

Artist Floor Talk: Saturday 5 October, 2pm to 4pm

RSVP to the opening and/or talk by emailing artspace@whitehorse.vic.gov.au
