Jimmy Sharman’s Boxing Troupe
On Sunday, 19 November 2023 we welcome the local, and award-winning author Stephen McGrath. 
He has researched the ways Jimmy Sharman navigated his famous Boxing Troupe through the conscription debates, and accusations of cowardly avoidance of war service during the First World War, and tells the boxing troupe story in a very engaging way.
Venue; Bert Lewis Room, first floor, Box Hill Library, 1040 Whitehorse Road Box Hill.
Time: 2pm.
Cost: Free, but a gold coin donation to help cover costs is appreciated.
